<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of displaying more annotation information about photographed image in response to an inquiry from a client by using an available cellular phone and of storing records. <P>SOLUTION: This information providing system is provided with a communication means 5, which has a receiving means 5 receiving image data and character data from a public network, observation means 1, 2 and 3, which have a photograph means converting an optical image into the image data, a position measurement means measuring the position of the photograph means, and a transmission means transmitting the image data and the position, a database means storing a plurality of sample images and information attached to them, and a server means 7, which is provided with a search means receiving the position and the image data from the observation means and searching for the sample images and the attached information corresponding to the received image data and a transmission means transmitting the attached information searched by the search means to at least one of the communication means and the observation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
