摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system wherein a delay in a transmission path between a wireless base station apparatus and a plurality of wireless transmission/reception apparatuses can be measured with high accuracy without stopping system operation. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless base station apparatus 11 transmits delay measurement data multiplexed on a frame with a frame transmission format to the wireless transmission/reception apparatus 13a. The wireless transmission/reception apparatus 13a separates the delay measurement data to detect a head position, and returns the delay measurement data to the wireless base station apparatus 11. The wireless base station apparatus 11 separates the reflected delay measurement data to detect the head position, calculates a difference between the head position at the first transmission of the delay measurement data and the head position of the reflected delay measurement data, and when delay information measurement operations of all the wireless transmission/reception apparatuses 13a to 13n are finished, the wireless base station apparatus 11 divides a difference between the maximum delay among delays of the apparatuses 13a to 13n and the delay of each of the apparatuses 13a to 13n by "2" to obtain each delay correction value and transmits the result to the apparatuses 13a to 13n.
