OPTICAL ELEMENT FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD AND DEVICE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element for liquid crystal display device in which a plurality of photopolymerizable liquid crystal films having a uniform performance are disposed on one sheet of substrate, and to provide a manufacturing method of the optical element and a manufacturing device of the same.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing device 10 of the optical element is provided with a stage 4, a light source 1 disposed above the stage 4 and a mask 20 having an opening 20a disposed between the light source 1 and the stage 4. The center of the opening 20a of the mask 20 coincides with the center of light from the light source 1 and the stage 4 is moved relatively for the opening 20a of the mask 20 by a stage drive part 4a. As the result, the photopolymerizable liquid crystal films 8b can be plurally formed in a multiple arrangement at desired positions of the substrate 3 on the stage 4.
