<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic hollow panel having closed edge faces prevented from the penetration of water or dust by closing the opened edge faces of a plastic hollow panel, representatively a plastic cellular board, that is, a plastic molded product obtained by molding a molten extruded plastic sheet to form a cap sheet having a large number of cap-shaped projections and laminating a flat back sheet and a liner sheet to the bases and top faces of the caps of the cap sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The edge faces to be closed of the plastic hollow panel such as the plastic cellular board or the like are preliminarily melted under heating and one side of a plastic tape of which the width is almost equal to the thickness of the plastic hollow panel is heated and melted at the same time over the length of the edge faces of the plastic hollow panel and, after the molten edge faces and the molten one side of the plastic tape are pressed and bonded to be integrated with each other, the excess part of the tape is cut off.
