<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small diametrical honing tool securing high working precision, simple in structure, excellent in rigidity and inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: This honing tool is furnished with: a hollow cylindrical tool body 10; a honing grinding tool 11 held free to project and retreat in the diametrical direction in a grinding tool holding opening 17 opened and provided on the tool body 10; and a rod type extension rod 12 free to reciprocate in the axial direction in the inside of a hollow cylindrical hole 15 of the tool main body 10.
