PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirrer capable of further enhancing the stirring efficiency of a liquid, a stirring method and an analyzer equipped with the stirrer. SOLUTION: The stirrer is constituted so as to stirr the liquid held to a liquid holding means by a sonic wave, the stirring method and the analyzer equipped with the stirrer are provided. The stirrer 20 is equipped with a drive circuit 22 for driving a sonic wave producing element 21 for producing the sonic wave and the drive circuit has a control part 23 for controlling the drive frequency of the sonic wave producing element 21 between resonance frequency and anti-resonance frequency. The sonic wave producing element 21 is driven by the frequency between resonance frequency and anti-resonance frequency using a surface elastic wave element having a vibrator equipped with a comb tooth electrode.
