PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a dentifrice of good qualities including uniformity, flavor, pastiness, shape retention and stability in high efficiency with well-cleansable compounding equipment, to provide the resultant dentifrice, and to provide a system for producing the same. SOLUTION: The method for producing the dentifrice by mixing its feedstocks together comprises the following process: An agitating tank 10 is charged with feedstocks, part of the contents in the tank 10 is removed, the thus removed contents are mixed with the other feedstocks charged in a low-shearing mixer 20 followed by mixing them together in the mixer 20, and then returning the resultant mixture into the tank 10. The system for producing the dentifrice comprises the agitating tank 10, a circulating line 36 through which the contents removed from the tank 10 are returned into the tank 10 again, and the low-shearing mixer 20 installed midway of the circulating line 36.
