A mains water top up system for a rainwater reservoir is fitted to a C-shaped bracket (1) secured to a wall via mounting holes (14) in the middle section and having upper and lower horizontal flanges. A mounting hole in the top flange provides a simple fitting for an outlet jet, a solenoid valve, a filter and a manual shut off valve, all of which can be bench assembled and fitted as one module. A hole in the bottom flange, concentric to the hole in the upper flange, provides a simple mounting to a filler funnel and attached hose. The top up system ensures continuous operation through dry periods for a rainwater system.
