An electric connector is provided to keep a terminal in a main connector body by increasing a terminal pulling force. An electric connector includes a main body(12) having a hollow portion(16) for receiving a terminal(14), and an elastic element(38) extended in the hollow portion to contact a first portion(42) to deflect the terminal toward an inner wall of the terminal. A cantilever element is extended from the elastic element into the hollow portion and contacts a second portion(44), so that the cantilever element resists rotating of the terminal in the hollow portion, thereby increasing a terminal deviation resistance.
