<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell catalyst carrying method which enlarges total surface area of catalyst by distributing the catalyst in extremely large number of fine holes physically located in a plane (two dimensionally) and three dimensionally, and to provide the fuel cell formed by the same. <P>SOLUTION: Catalyst carrier is two-dimensionally transferred on a carbon paper (diffusion layer) serving as an electron conduction layer by applying a screen printing device having three dimensional high positional accuracy and a transfer technology and by using a screen mesh having very fine patterns (dots). Further, the catalyst carrier is transferred on a new carbon paper (diffusion layer) located at a position different in level from that of the dots by using a screen mesh on which patterns (dots) are formed. The three-dimensionally distributed catalyst is fixed on a very thin layer by superposing the plurality of carbon papers and crimping them. It is possible to form a fuel cell electrode composite by sticking and press-bonding the carbon paper and a polymer electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
