<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller for a piezoelectric actuator which easily controls the driven amount of a driven object, and the current value of the piezoelectric actuator, to provide electronic equipment, and to provide a drive control method of the piezoelectric actuator. <P>SOLUTION: In the drive controller, a PWM signal source outputs a control pulse signal (B) having variable pulse widths, thereby the ratio of period t-l to period t-h becomes variable, for which each set frequency Lo, Hi is selected respectively as a frequency of a drive signal (A), consequently, the revolutions of a rotor can be freely controlled, thereby the current value flowing through the piezoelectric actuator can also be freely controlled.
