<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that if quantity of programs are recorded, various programs are mixed so that it becomes difficult for a user to know locations of programs and management becomes difficult. <P>SOLUTION: An information recording apparatus comprises a receiving section for receiving an information signal containing program information, a recording section for recording the information signal, and a control section for controlling recording of the information signal into the recording section. The program information contains first category information indicating a first category of a program and second category information indicating a second category of the program. When recording an information signal in the recording section, the control section performs control so as to determine a folder to record the information signal therein from the first category information, further, to determine a folder to record the information signal out of folders in the lower layer of said determined folder from the second category information, and to record the information signal in the folder determined from the second category information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
