<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can use the unprinted surface of a paper failed in image recording, sent to a back paper tray according to a command from a personal computer. <P>SOLUTION: The printer executes a printing task and additionally stores the printing task information with regard to a printing task corresponding to the execution order of its past printing task (#3), every time the printer executes the printing task (#2). Then, the printer, when receiving a command for re-feeding the back paper from the personal computer (YES at #6), executes back paper re-feeding operation for feeding the paper in a paper discharge tray to the back paper tray (#9). During the back paper re-feeding operation, the number of printed matter and the number of papers printed after the print of the printed matter are calculated (#11), the papers in the paper discharge tray are retreated to a hand insertion tray by only the number of papers printed after the printing of the printed matters (#12), and the papers in the paper discharge tray are moved to the back paper tray by the number of printed papers of the printed matters (#13). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
