<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and technology for simply, rapidly and accurately judging presence of grain of another variety mixed in good-quality grain and the mixed variety. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for determining variety of grain by DNA, with which when whether or not grain of another variety is mixed in grain is determined by using a PCR method using a DNA extracted from the grain as a template, a molecular marker for identification of negative band that does not express an identification band in a target variety but selectively expresses it only in a mixed variety is used. The method for determining variety of grain by DNA comprises a molecular marker for identification of positive band that selectively expresses an identification band only in a target variety but not in another variety. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
