PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output different streams to the outside in parallel with recording into an accumulation means in a digital broadcast receiver for recording and reproducing an input stream in a recording and reproducing means. SOLUTION: A plurality of systems (e.g. two systems) of remax means are provided, each ReMux means including a function for extracting only designated program data, and multiplexing packet data to refer to in the case of reproduction or rewriting a packet, thereby simultaneously performing operation of recording one stream in an incorporated accumulation means and simultaneously outputting different streams to the outside.
