PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the flow of vapor from a fuel tank into a canister when trapped fuel is purged from the canister to an intake passage, and to permit the flow of vapor from the fuel tank into the canister when the trapped fuel is not purged to the intake passage. SOLUTION: This evaporated fuel treatment device is provided in an engine with a supercharger for trapping vapor generated in the fuel tank 5 through a vapor line 21 into the canister 22 and purging the trapped fuel to the intake passage 2 for treatment. The supercharger 11 includes a compressor 12. Purge lines 26, 27 purge the trapped fuel in the canister 22 to an upstream position in the compressor 12. A shut-off valve 32 provided in the vapor line 21 is opened when pressure in the fuel tank 5 is a preset value or greater and positive, and closed by negative pressure when the trapped fuel in the canister 22 is purged.
