PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color sample selection device that enables a person who is handicapped in color vision to easily select coloration that the person who is handicapped in color vision can discriminate when selecting a plurality of colors that the person who is handicapped in color vision can discriminate. SOLUTION: The color sample selection device has a display screen and an input means and is characterized in that a plurality of color samples are displayed on the display screen and when one color sample is selected, new display of a color sample that the person who is handicapped in color vision can not discriminate from the one selected color sample among the plurality of color samples appears. On the color sample selection device, the new display appears when color differences between a CIEL*a*b*color value of the one color sample that the person who is handicapped in color vision recognizes and CIEL*a*b*color values of other color samples that the person who is handicapped in color vision recognize are 0 to 20.
