PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel having simple constitution and capable of taking a picture free from blur by rapidly detecting the shake (eccentric amount) of a lens mount. SOLUTION: The lens barrel 1 comprising the lens mount 3 holding a lens 2 and a case 4 housing and holding the lens mount 3 is equipped with: a light source 11 provided in the case 4; a position detection part 12 provided in the case 4 oppositely to the light source 11 and detecting the position of the image of the light source 11; a shake detection lens 13 positioned on a line L1 linking the light source 11 with the position detection part 12 in the case 4 and attached to the lens mount 3 and forming an image on the position detection part 12 with light from the light source 11; and a calculation means 14 calculating the eccentric amount of the lens mount 3 from the case 4 based on the position of the image of the light source 11 detected by the position detection part 12.
