The aid has a hearing designation order (HDO) housing (17) and a handset shell (12) that is inserted into an ear adaptor (10). The shell is connected with the housing through an electrical cable (15). A pipe-shaped cartridge (14) is provided into the adaptor, where the cartridge accommodates the total length of the shell. The cartridge exhibits a sound output port at its front end. A dome part (35) is connected with the shell, and is inserted in an auditory channel. The dome part is provided in such a manner that the hearing aid is selectively used with the adaptor or dome part.
