<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and its driving method which suppress malfunction of a circuit by a leak light of a high luminance light, and suppress occurrence of white black reverse phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: It is possible to provide the imaging apparatus and its driving method which suppress white black reverse phenomenon by switching a shutter driving system to a rolling shutter system. Usually, imaging is performed using a global shutter system.
