<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a structure having a sufficiently suppressed crosstalk between adjacent channels at a low cost in a manufacturing method of an optical coupling having many photo-couplers each consisting of a pair of a light emitting device 3A(3B) and a light receiving device 4A(4B). <P>SOLUTION: A multi-channel monolithic chip 1 having many photocouplers provided on a single silicon substrate 2 is mounted on an insulating substrate 20, and a first notch groove 25 is formed between the light emitting device 3A(3B) and the light receiving device 4A(4B) constituting the photocoupler by dicing. After the first notch groove 25 is filled with a translucent insulating resin 30, a second notch groove 26 is formed between adjacent photocouplers by dicing, and each light emitting device 3A(3B) and each light receiving device 4A(4B) are electrically connected to external terminals 22 by bonding wires 31, and the whole over the insulating substrate 20 is molded of a light shielding resin 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
