PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join both ends of a deployable core without welding in a stator core that is formed, by causing the deployable core formed of a plurality of laminated strip-shaped core raw materials to be elastically deformed, into a cylindrical shape. SOLUTION: A recess (52) is formed at the end face of the strip-shaped core raw material (2), a protrusion (51) is formed at the end face of the opposite side, and the recess and the protrusion are fit to each other, when the deployable core is elastically deformed and formed into the cylindrical shape, thus joining is achieved. By forming constricted parts (51b, 52b) at the mount of the recess and the neck of the protrusion, respectively, the deployable core is prevented from falling off, after the joining.
