<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rigid polyurethane foam, capable of continuously producing the rigid polyurethane foam having an open-cell structure, capable of shortening an aging time, and therefore capable of being improved in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, the rigid polyurethane foam having the open-cell structure is continuously produced by continuously supplying a raw material 18 which contains polyols, polyisocyantes, a foaming agent, and a catalyst onto a traveling first belt conveyor 11, then reacting, foaming, and curing the raw material. A polyether polyol and a polyester polyol are used as the polyols. Further, a feed rate of the polyols, a traveling speed of the first belt conveyor 11, and a tilt angleαof the first belt conveyor 11 in a direction of traveling of the first belt conveyor 11 are set to be 40-60 kg/min, 3.5-5.5 m/min, and 0-3°, respectively.
