PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of preventing a lid body from being closed by gravity during an opening/closing operation, and holding the opened state of the lid body. SOLUTION: A digital camera includes a case 1, and the lid body 2 that covers an opening in the upper face of the case 1 so as to be vertically turned. A cam face 3 is formed on the base end of lid body 2. A slide pin 5 which is energized upwards by a spring so as to come into contact with the cam face 3 and to lock the lid body 2, is disposed in a place opposite to the cam face 3 of the lid body 2 within the case 1. The lid body 2 is disposed so as to be movable forwards/backwards. In a state the lid body 2 is closed in a retracted position or and the lid body 2 is opened completely in the advanced position, the slide pin 5 engages with the cam face 3, thereby restricting the forward/backward movement of the lid body 2.
