PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal safety check apparatus capable of crime prevention and personal safety check. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a sensor 21 for detecting movements inside a residence and an automatic notification machine 24 for detecting abnormality by an input to the sensor and automatically notifying it outside the residence. The sensor 21 is used as a crime prevention sensor when it is in a crime prevention warning mode and as a personal safety check sensor when in a personal safety check mode.
