PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for measuring tire uniformity, in which measurement and analysis of rotating sound of tires can be performed, using an inexpensive method, in a tire production line. SOLUTION: A tire dynamic balance measuring machine 1 includes a rotatable spindle 1c, having an upper rim 1a and a lower rim 1b for catching a measuring tire W. A load roll 2a is provided contactable with and separable from the measuring tire W, and rotates the measuring tire W by contacting it to place a load. A sound collector 3a and a loudspeaker 3b collect rotating sound of the measuring tire W in placement of a load lower than the load necessary for measuring TFV of the measuring tire W to the load roll 2a, and a personal computer 13 wavelet-analyzes the rotating sound, to determine whether there is abnormality in the measuring tire W.
