PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust pipe device for an internal combustion engine stabilizing supercharging efficiency of a supercharger and making scavenging efficiency of a cylinder high. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a plurality of connecting pipes 2 connected to exhaust ports of cylinders respectively, a plurality of collecting pipes 31, 32 connected to the plurality of connecting pipes 2 respectively, and a merge connecting part 4 in which the plurality of collecting pipes 31, 32 merge and of which tip is connected to exhaust intake part of a supercharger. The maximum inner diameter R3 of the collecting pipes 31, 32, an inner diameter of one end provided with a flange 6 of the connecting pipe 2, and an inner diameter of another end communicating to each collecting pipe 31, 32 of the connecting pipe 2 are formed smaller in this order. Tip inner diameters R4 of first and a second collecting pipe communicating to the merge connecting part 4 is formed smaller then the maximum inner diameter R3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
