PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a glued insulated joint rail, which can maintain an insulating function over a long period of time and prolong the life of a rail body, by reducing an arc generated at the joint part of the glued insulated joint rail. SOLUTION: When a wheel W reaches a position P<SB>3</SB>and transfers to a rail 3 from a rail 2, a tread W<SB>1</SB>of the wheel W is brought into contact with a rail head part 3a in the state of being separated from a rail head part 2a while being brought into contact with a joint bar head part 4b. Thus, an electric current runs to the rail 2 through the joint bar 4 and a conductive part 13 from the wheel W, and also runs to the rail 3 from the wheel W. When the wheel W reaches a position P<SB>4</SB>, the tread W<SB>1</SB>of the wheel W is separated from the head part 4b, and brought into contact with the head part 3a. This brings about the interruption of the electric current running to the rail 2 from the wheel W through the joint bar 4, so that the electric current can run only to the rail 3 from the wheel W. Consequently, the electric current running to the rail 2 from the wheel W is not instantaneously interrupted at a joint part between the rails 2 and 3, and the arc is prevented from being generated at the joint part.
