PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a sidewall used for a tire that shows excellent resistance to flexural crack propagation, crack resistance and rolling resistance characteristics, its manufacturing method and a pneumatic tire comprising the rubber composition. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the sidewall, which contains a rubber component and a white filler and in which a continuous phase and one or more discontinuous phases present a sea-island structure and the white filler is localized in at least one of the discontinuous phases, and its manufacturing method are provided.
