In the torch production, thermoplastic molding material exhibits fast burning molded body containing wax and slow burning additives (5) or fillers (10-50%) and is compounded and pelletized. The pelletized material is molded by pressing the molding material by an in-line screw injection-molding machine equipped with a modified nozzle (3). The nozzle is fitted with a mandrel carrier and a mandrel. The additives are wood, wood chips, wood dust, straw or other inflammable biomass-containing by-products, and waste materials e.g. paper or pasteboard.
