There is provided a process for the preparation of a compound of formula I, which process comprises: (a) reaction of a compound of formula II, HO-D-NH2 II with a compound of formula III, followed by (b) reaction of the intermediate of formula IV thereby formed, IV with base and a compound of formula V, R2S(O)2L2 V, wherein the intermediate of formula IV is not isolated, and wherein D, R1, R2, L1 and L2 have meanings given in the description.
