<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic abradable material with excellent efficiency and performance used for controlling a clearance between the turbine blade tip and the shroud or the casing of a gas turbine engine for industrial use and/or aerospace industry use. <P>SOLUTION: This ceramic abradable seal material contains yttria (Y<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>) and stabilized zirconia (ZrO<SB>2</SB>) doped by alumina (Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>).
