<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent variation of a pixel size formed on a photo-conductor in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a light emitting element line head (optical head) 62 in which light emitting elements corresponding for every pixel are arranged in an array in the main scanning direction of the photo-conductor, and a plurality of the arrays of the light emitting elements are set in the sub-scanning direction of the photo-conductor, an imaging optical system arranged between the light emitting elements and the photo-conductor, and an image data processing means 65 which exposes the photo-conductor by sequentially using a plurality of the arrays of light emitting element lines (light emitting element arrays) 62k, 62l and 62m one line by one line for a predetermined using period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
