PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved bridge apparatus for correcting unwanted signal characteristics in electric circuits. SOLUTION: The apparatus is a multi-wire sensing bridge apparatus 220, capable of correcting unwanted characteristics associated with input electrical signals generated on its multi-wire sensing bridge, and reduces the number of pieces of wires required conventionally for correcting the electrical signals in the circuit. This apparatus comprises a multi-wire harness 222, 224, 230 having a plurality of pieces of electrically conductive wire, and a first impedance element 228 and a second impedance element 226, having excitation sides and return sides, respectively. The excitation sides are connected to the input electrical signals, and the return sides are connected to a return path. In measurement, the apparatus can correct one or more secondary errors, directly correct offset drifts during operation, and moreover, linearize span drifts during the operation.
