PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a compressor by forming an oil storage chamber independently of a motor chamber in which a refrigerant compressed by a compressing mechanism part is introduced. SOLUTION: In this compressor 1, a partition member 7 is installed in a housing 3 on the opposite side of the compressing mechanism part 4 with respect to a motor 5, and the partition member 7 is pressed by the stator 5a of the motor 5 to secure liquidtight the partition member to the housing 3 so as to form the oil storage chamber 6 independently of the motor chamber 2 in which the motor 5 is stored.
