PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install and fix a synthetic resin drive gear transmitting rotation from a drive source to a shaft rotating a rotor from an outside of a pump body on the shaft in such a manner the same does not slip, in an oil pump provided with the rotor. SOLUTION: This drive gear device comprises the rotor transferring fluid in the pump, the metal shaft A rotating the rotor, and the synthetic resin drive gear 11 positioned outside of the pump body 1 and transmitting rotation to the shaft A. The shaft A is cast in and formed when the drive gear 11 is formed. A projecting locking part A<SB>1</SB>is formed in a contact zone where the shaft A passes through the dive gear 11. The projecting locking part A<SB>1</SB>comprises a pin member 7 and a through-hole 6 formed on the shaft A, a resin receiver 7a in which melted resin flows is formed on the pin member 7 and the pin member 7 is fitted in the through-hole 6, and both ends in longitudinal direction project out of an outer circumference surface of the shaft A.
