PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing tiles of interior and exterior facing walls from falling by which the tiles are prevented from falling upon an earthquake, the work for prevention of falling of the tiles can be performed later easily, and an aesthetic property and the appearance of the tiled exterior and interior facing walls are not impaired. SOLUTION: The method for preventing the tiles of the interior and exterior facing walls from falling is as follows. Namely, vertical and horizontal lines are drawn on an entire wall surface at intervals of 1 m. In a drilling process (α), a hole is drilled in each of joint parts 2 near intersections of the lines and at center parts. In a sheath fitting process (β), a sheath is inserted into the hole. Then, undercoating is performed. In a first an intermediate coating process (γ), first middle coating is carried out using an acrylic silicone resin containing a glass fiber. After forming the first coating film, a coating film fixing process (δ) is performed in which a pin 3 is driven into the sheath through the first coating film to be flush with the joint part 2. Further, a coloring process (ε) is performed in which a head part of the pin 3 is coated to have the same color as that of the joint part 2. A second intermediate coating process (ζ) is performed in which second intermediate coating is performed using the coating material. Next, a finishing process (η) is performed.
