PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit and the like which are low in power consumption and has a high driving capability. SOLUTION: The driving circuit comprises an operational amplifier OPC<SB>1</SB>for driving data lines on the basis of gradation voltage corresponding to any one of first to P-th (P is an integer≥4) gradation values by rail-to-rail operation or non-rail-to-tail operation and an operational amplifier control part OPCC<SB>1</SB>for performing the switching control of the rail-to-rail operation and the non-rail-to-tail operation. When the s-th (1≤s≤P, s is an integer) gradation value corresponding to the gradation data is included in the range of the q-th (1<q<P, q is an integer) to r-th (q<r<P, r is an integer) gradation values, the operational amplifier OPCC<SB>1</SB>drives the data lines on the basis of the gradation value corresponding to the s-th gradation value by the non-rail-to-tail operation, and when the s-th gradation value is outside the range of the q-th to r-th gradation values, drives the data lines on the basis of the gradation voltage corresponding to the s-th gradation value by the rail-to-rail operation.
