PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring spoon which can reduce the amount of resin used while ensuring the required strength and which is superior also in alignment properties by an alignment machine. SOLUTION: The measuring spoon 1 has a metering unit 2 and a shank part 3 and is formed by injection molding, and an overhung section 22 of horizontal to 45 degrees of angle going outward is formed over 1/2 of the entire periphery of an opening 21, in the peripheral edge of the aperture 21 of the metering zone 2. In the metering spoon 1, the opening area 24 of the metering zone 2 is horizontal. When the base section 25 of this metering zone 2 section is made to contact with a horizontal plate B and is placed near the edge of this horizontal plate B, the shank part 3 side falls downward, and the opening area of this metering zone 2 forms a net angle of 45 degrees or larger, with respect to this horizontal plate, and the opening area of the metering zone 2 is set substantially parallel with a vertical plane. When the side face of this metering zone 2 is brought into contact with the horizontal plate and it places near the edge of this horizontal plate B, it is made so as to be stabilized in a state where it turns with this shank part 3 side falling downward, and the shank part 3 is extended downward.
