PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption amount of a flocculant and production amount of sludge by efficiently treating solid-containing waste water discharged from a production process of an aqueous dispersion in the production factory of toner for electrophotography or the like. SOLUTION: In this waste water treatment of solid-containing waste water discharged from production processes of aqueous dispersion containing a surfactant, a coloring agent and silica in the production factory of an aqueous paint, the toner for electrophotography or the like, by employing a treating method using a polysilica iron flocculant, efficient treatment can be carried out, and the consumption amount of the flocculant and the production amount of sludge can be reduced.
