PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic coating system and an electrostatic coating method capable of carrying out coating stably in a simple structure. SOLUTION: A direct charging type electrostatic coating method for atomizing a coating fed to the atomizing head of a coating device from a coating tank by applying a high voltage, enables a stable coating in a simple structure by using high electric resistance pure water as a pushing out liquid for control so as to quantitatively feed the coating in the coating tank toward the atomizing head.
