PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjuster capable of smoothly adjusting a chain diameter without hindering a function even when used for a long period of time or when bathing or the like is performed in the state of wearing it, and a chain-like accessory using the same. SOLUTION: The chain-like accessory provided with the adjuster which is capable of freely adjusting the chain diameter comprises a chain (2) whose both ends are free ends and the adjuster (3) to which one end of the chain (2) is connected and through which the other end of the chain (2) freely movably passes. The adjuster (3) is provided with a frame (4) where a pair of through-holes (401) for passing the chain (2) therethrough are formed, and a coil-like locking part (5) disposed inside the frame (4) through which the chain passes. For the locking part (5), the diameter of the center part directed in a longitudinal direction is reduced, a pressurizing part (6) is formed and the chain can be energized by the pressurizing part (6).
