<p>The wheel (R) is attached horizontally to a platform (10) to be rotated on top of a housing accommodating the drive unit (M). An upper (22) and a lower mounting arm (24) each with a conical element (22a,22b) located at its front are moved manually or electrically towards the wheel rim. Before the wheel (R) is rotated, and also during the operation if required, a fluid is automatically sprayed (28) into the gap between the tire (L) and the wheel rim in order to facilitate an easier separation.</p> |
