<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device in order to reduce power consumption of a transmission device side, and a radio transmission system using the transmission device. <P>SOLUTION: The problem is solved by that the transmission device for performing radio transmission of a digital signal including an image signal is provided with a modulator which receives input of a high bit rate or a low bit rate signal of the digital signal, and modulates by a modulation system predetermined beforehand corresponding to the input signal; a frequency converter which carries out frequency conversion of the modulation signal obtained from the modulation part; a high frequency electric power amplifier which amplifies high frequency electric power of the signal obtained from the frequency converter; and a control unit which changes the modulation system in the modulation part in a normal time and a time when an event occurs based on a predetermined condition, and controls the electric power of the high frequency electric power amplifying part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
