PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively accurately and speedily move a zoom lens and a focus lens to the respective target positions. SOLUTION: According to a zooming operation, a control section (CPU) 20 obtains a target stop position at which a target stop lens is to be stopped from a zoom tracking table 30-1. Next, the control section controls a motor driver 14-1, drives the DC motor of a lens unit 11, and compares a present state with a target (ideal) reduction speed curve. When the target stop lens reaches the speed reduction start position, the control part increases or decreases the ON proportion or/and application voltage of PWM drive according to an amount of difference from the target (ideal) speed reduction curve, thereby reducing the speed so that the speed may follow the target (ideal) speed reduction curve. When the lens reaches a complete stop process start position, the control section controls a motor driver 14-1, and stops the target stop lens at the target stop position.
