PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coupling module centering/fixing jig in a waveguide element for achieving the high-efficiency optical coupling of each kind of semiconductor laser and the waveguide element. SOLUTION: The optical coupling module centering/fixing jig comprises: a module mounting stand 7 for positioning, fixing, and holding a module casing 1 for storing optics for forming an optical coupling module; an LD chuck 8 capable of freely centering and opening/closing orthogonal two axes to an optical axis and gripping an LD holder 6; a lens adjustment tool 15 where a pin 17 inserted into a hole provided at a lens holder 3 is pressed in; and a lens adjustment mounting stand 19 that can be centered to the optical axis freely, can position the lens adjustment tool 15, and can be attached or detached freely, thus centering the optical axis and adhering and fixing each holder.
