PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for storing an apparatus which allows easy installation of an apparatus mounting member to the cabinet even in a state that an apparatus is attached to the apparatus mounting member. SOLUTION: Engagement pieces 7 to be engaged with the main body are formed in the four corners of the back face of a box-like frame 3 to which the apparatus is attached, while engagement grooves 6 are formed at the corresponding places of the main body. Each of the engagement pieces 7 has a tongue piece 7b projecting to the side, and a tap hole 10 into which a bolt 11 is to be screwed is formed in the tongue piece 7b. Each of the engagement grooves 6 consists of an opening 6a to insert the engagement piece 7, a dropping groove 6b to drop the engagement piece 7 which has been inserted into the opening 6a to prevent the coming-off of the engagement piece 7, and a U-shaped cutout 12 formed in conformity with the tap hole 10. After inserting the engagement piece 7 into the opening portion 6a and then dropping it into the dropping groove 6b, the bolt 10 is screwed into the tap hole 10 to secure the engagement piece 7 to the back plate.
