PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation work of a spandrel, since the installed spandrel is deformed by the thermal expansion of the spandrel and labor is required for installation of the spandrel to a ceiling joist material. SOLUTION: The spandrel 1 has a projecting part 9 having a recessed groove 8 receiving an end part upright piece part 3 erected in one side end part of the spandrel 1, a fixing base board 10 extending outward from a base part of this projecting part 9 and having a fixing machine screw hole 11, and a reverse butting plate part 12 extending to a reverse side surface 13 of a spandrel end part from this fixing base board 10 and having the machine screw hole 11 opposed to this reverse side surface; and is fixed by a machine screw to a backing via a fixture 5 holding this part 3 by elastically engaging with the end part upright piece part 3 of the spandrel.
