PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection joint which is associated with a connection structure for pieces of wood for a wooden building, more specifically, prevents the wood from sinking or splitting in a connection between columns, between the column and a beam, between the beams, between a sill and the column, etc.; and to provide a joint of a wood shaft member, which enables a rigid-framed structure-type framework to be easily constructed by using a wooden framework. SOLUTION: When the sill 1, an intermediate section between the beams 3 and 4, and a butt end surface of the column or the beam are each joined, a connecting socket 7 or a dedicated socket 8 is interposed between A-sockets 5 and between the A-socket 5 and a B-socket 6; and edges, which are provided at the ends of the A-socket 5 and the B-socket 6, are joined via a flange part 18 which is provided on the connecting socket 7 or the dedicated socket 8, without making the pieces of wood joined together via a joint surface.
