PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a glass wash-basin which is adequately used in, for example, a bath room, a shower room, a washroom, etc., under an environment where a loading amount of staining is great, or the glass wash-basin is incessantly exposed to a large amount of steam and water by directly applying a dense and homogeneous crystalline titania thin film to the surface of Na-Ca glass. SOLUTION: The glass wash-basin formed by applying the dense and homogeneous crystalline titania thin film directly to the surface of the Na-Ca glass is obtained by using the method for manufacturing the glass wash-basin including a process of forming an amorphous titania film on the Na-Ca glass and a process of subjecting the film to plasma treatment, or a method for manufacturing the glass wash-basin including the process of forming the amorphous titania film on the Na-Ca glass, the process of subjecting the film to the plasma treatment, and a process of subjecting the film to heating.
